Maria Peszek
Maria Peszek, ps. Mania, (ur. 9 września 1973 we Wrocławiu) - polska aktorka i piosenkarka.
Ukończyła Państwową Wyższą Szkołę Teatralną (PWST) w Krakowie (1996 r.). Debiutowała na scenie Teatru Słowackiego w Krakowie, w adaptacji sztuki Brunona Schulza "Sanatorium pod klepsydrą" (scenariusz i reżyseria - Jan Peszek). Grała także na scenach Teatru Studio w Warszawie i Teatru Narodowego.
Pochodzi z rodziny o tradycjach teatralnych, jej ojciec - Jan Peszek jest znanym aktorem. Aktorem jest także jej brat - Błażej Peszek.
Na 21. Przeglądzie Piosenki Aktorskiej we Wrocławiu, w otrzymała nagrodę publiczności (2000 r.) Wykonywała piosenkę "Jestem wiatrem, jestem burzą" Mateusza Pospieszalskiego i Rafała Dziwisza.
W październiku 2005 został wydany debiutancki album muzyczny Marii Peszek, miasto mania. Płyta została nagrana we współpracy z Wojciechem Waglewskim oraz jego synami - Fiszem i Emade. Jest to zarazem ścieżka dźwiękowa multimedialnego przedstawienia o tym samym co album tytule. Płyta ta została wyróżniona dwoma Fryderykami w kategoriach: Nowa Twarz Fonografii dla Marii Peszek oraz Produkcja Muzyczna Roku.
